An SEO audit tells you where your website is, and how to get it to where it needs to be.
If you’ve read my SEO workbook, you probably know I’m pretty good at SEO. I teach SEO classes at an Adobe Certified training center, am Google Analytics certified, and a Yoast master. I’m also transparent about sharing everything I know, which is no different in my WordPress SEO audits.
A Quick Success Story
To give you an idea of the type of person I am, I celebrated July 4th with a client (Paul) who flew me out to Kansas City to spend the holiday with him and his family. I’ve worked with Paul for 4 years, built his site, and got him ranked in the top 3 results for 20+ keywords. He was able to save $5k/month by cancelling AdWords and replace it with SEO traffic. Paul always reminds me of what I’ve done for him, and we’re already planning another visit to KC. That’s what it’s about.
Of course you probably want to know specific elements of SEO I can help you improve. I will ALWAYS learn about your keywords and SEO goals, but here are just a few things I can do…
I Will Help You:

- Setup Google Analytics + Google Search Console

Local SEO Audit
You want to rank higher in Google Maps and localized search results using Google’s local search ranking factors. You only have a few primary keywords and need help optimizing geo-targeted landing pages, Google My Business, and citations (online directories and other profiles). You also want to make sure Analytics and Search Console are configured properly and to get insights from those too.

National SEO Audit
Your website targets national keywords, so competition is higher. You have a few primary keywords, but other keywords that are also important. You need an audit that puts an emphasis on website optimization since that’s what Google’s national ranking factors are all about. Content optimization and keyword research are critical, and you have access to a writer, developer, and web/graphic designer.

SEO Audit vs. Actual Optimizations – an audit consists of recommendations, but I will setup Yoast, Analytics, and Search Console. If you want direct results, use Whitespark’s citation building service for local SEO. These are 20% of Google Map rankings and are one of the few things you can outsource without any work on your end, other than the intake. Or if your load time is slow in GTmetrix, sign up for freelancer.com and hire bdkamol which is the same guy I use. Need help optimizing content with Yoast, or something else? Contact me for a quote.
Multiple Locations – if you’re doing local SEO in multiple cities, please add $200 for each additional location. This is needed to analyze keywords, content, and citations for each of those geographies. For example, 3 locations would be $1,300, and 5 locations would be $1,700.
When our small business’s numbers started dropping in searches, website visits, and customer calls, we couldn’t figure out what the problem was. Luckily, we found Online Media Masters and Tom Dupuis to help us with our SEO.
Tom went above and beyond for us, not only helping us get our numbers back but moving us decisively beyond where we’d originally been. He had some simple and very helpful suggestions that he was willing to share right off the bat, then he tailored solutions to our site–finding keywords, suggesting new pages, and so forth. Within days of implementing his suggestions, site visits and customer calls increased; within a few weeks, we saw significant changes to data in both Google Analytics and Webmaster.
He was always available when we had questions. His knowledge is extensive and he is a conscientious professional who clearly cares about doing quality work and building relationships with clients.
